Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin has just made their relationship public as the Coldplay frontman introduced Lawrence to his friends last Thursday night. The new couple, along with Martin's friends, were spotted at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

According to the New York Post, the 24-year old Oscar-winning actress and 37-year old musician were at a birthday celebration and were both "all smiles" and "had grins from ear to ear."

A source noted that the two seemed very affectionate and comfortable with each other and were apparently the "center of attention" at the restaurant.

"She is very gregarious and confident ... They seem super cute together," the witness added.

Martin is said to have been using his talent for songwriting to win over the young actress, constantly trying to win her over with original love songs.

Another source shared, "He writes her songs and loves taking her to private romantic spots. Chris is sweeping Jen off her feet. That's his thing." 

Although Martin's divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow is yet to be finalized, the actress is said to be happy that he has found someone else and approves of Lawrence as his new beau.

An insider shared, "Things are very amicable, and Gwyneth is happy for Chris."

But despite the news that Paltrow is happy with her ex's new relationship, her friends aren't quite taking it as easily as she is. Paltrow's friends are said to have told her to keep her head high but her middle finger higher after rumors flew that Martin took a liking to Lawrence because the younger actress is the opposite of Paltrow.

Lawrence is said to be a lot more laidback and relaxed, indulging in junk food and cigarettes, while Paltrow tends to be more stiff and rigid.

Paltrow is currently dating Brad Falchuk, the co-creator of "Glee".
