The news comes after Tom Hank's Inferno will open in China this weekend. According to the Deadline, the Miracle on the Hudson was very famous in China, thus the main reason for Sully's Chinese release date.

So far, Sully has already bagged in $60 million overseas and $121.1 million stateside. The movie's top markets include Japan ($12.3 million), Australia ($9.7 million), South Korea ($4.7 million), United Arab Emirates ($3.4 million), and Taiwan ($3.1 million).

Sully is set to open in France in late November and Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom in early December before it lands in China, Yahoo! News reported.

Hank is playing the role of the career pilot Chesley Sully Sullenberger, who successfully made an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River after US Airways flight 1549 was severely damaged after it hit a flock of geese after takeoff from LaGuardia Airport in 2009.

All 155 passengers and crew onboard the flight miraculously survived. However, while both the media and the public hailed him as a hero, the famed pilot is now facing investigation that threatens to destroy his career and reputation.

The American biographical drama film was directed and produced by Clint Eastwood and written by Todd Komarnicki. It has a production budget of nearly $60 million with Village Roadshow Pictures a co-producer and co-financer with Warner Bros.

Meanwhile, Hank's Inferno has already raked in $100 million at the international box office in 64 markets for Sony. Other than China, the mystery-crime film is set to open in the United States, Japan, and South Korean as well this weekend.
