(Photo : Reuters/Oli Scarff) Prime Minister David Cameron vowed Sunday to hunt down the Islamic State group that murdered a British aid worker, David Cawthorne Haines, whose gruesome beheading video circulated online on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
The beheading of a British aid worker has strengthened the U.K.'s resolve to join the fight against the Islamic State (ISIL) with Prime Minister David Cameron calling them "monsters" and vowing to bring them down with U.S. and its international allies.
The European Union (EU) issued a joint statement on Sunday backing Cameron and confirming its commitment in joining the ISIL fight.

The Islamic State released a video showing the brutal beheading of David Cawthorne Haines, a humanitarian worker stationed in Syria before his capture in March 2013. The masked jihadist in the video entitled "A Message to the Allies of America" personally targeted Cameron, calling him Obama's lapdog who cannot say "no" to the United States.
The speaker in the footage warned the shedding of more British blood should Cameron continue to support the U.S.-led coalition that targets to degrade and destroy the terrorist group that has been carving out large territories for itself in Iraq and Syria.
ISIL declared a caliphate in June and has since invited all Muslims around the world to join their ranks and wage jihad against the nonbelievers.
Hours after the release of the Haines beheading video, Cameron vowed to support the United States' expanded military campaign against the Islamic terror group.
Cameron, before calling an emergency meeting with his intelligence and security officials, said in a public statement that the Islamic State poses massive regional threat and must be deliberately destroyed.
The European Union joined Cameron's denunciation of the terror group, calling the murder of David Haines "atrocious."
In a joint statement, members of the EU said that they will work with international and regional allies to put an end to the atrocious terrorist campaign the Islamic State has been spreading in the region and threatens to expand beyond Iraq and Syria.
CNN reported of Cameron's strategies to beat back the terror group: to collaborate with the Iraqi and Kurd governments and aid them in protecting the minorities brutalized by the ISIL; with the UN, "mobilize the broadest possible support" against the terror group; to shore up support for the U.S.-led anti-ISIL coalition; to extend support for the international humanitarian efforts in the region; and to reinforce British counter-terrorism efforts.
The fanatical organization is not Muslim; rather they are monsters that are planning attacks against Europe and the United Kingdom, Cameron noted.
