Zlatan Ibrahimović is rumored to leave Manchester United next summer after just one season with the Premier League outfit, and Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy is said to be waiting for his availability on a free transfer, the recent football transfer rumors hinted.

Ibrahimović, who turned 35 last month, is reportedly frustrated about the Red Devils current status as it went from the top of the Premier League table down to the eighth spot in just six rounds of competitions. United has only won once in its last six matches as the Swedish striker was limited to only four English top-flight goals in 10 games this season.

At the moment, Ibrahimović leads the Red Devils' goalscorers with six in all competitions while young forward Marcus Rashford follows him with four. United legend Wayne Rooney has only two goals and is also rumored to exit the club at the end of the season.

United acquired Ibrahimović in July as a free agent after his contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain expired last summer. He was signed to a one-year deal with $250,400 weekly wage and an option to be extended for another year depending on his performance for the team.

According to the Mirror, Ibrahimović "could leave Manchester United after just one season" as he wanted to find a "way out of his nightmare" in England.

Caught Offside noted that the LA Galaxy is ready to receive the Swede next summer if he indeed decides to leave Manchester, although it was not mentioned if the MLS club is prepared to pay him his required compensation.

Galaxy is also planning to sign Rooney for marketing purposes, but Ibrahimović would be the first option.

Meanwhile, United manager Jose Mourinho has praised Ibrahimović's attitude in the midst of the team's current struggles, saying that "he is playing well for the team" and had been "creating a lot of chances and missing a lot of goals".

"His attitude is always brilliant. He's not a guy afraid of his responsibility, so no problem at all," Mourinho said.
