There are rumors that Carmelo Anthony is frustrated about what is happening with the New York Knicks and he could demand to be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for fellow All-Star Kevin Love.

Knicks president Phil Jackson had recently expressed his frustration about head coach Jeff Hornacek's limited utilization of the triangle offense, saying it is the cause of the team's current drop in the standings.

Jackson and Hornacek talked about it in the preseason and the former reportedly allowed the latter to "tweak the offense how he saw fit." However, the Zen Master seemed to have changed his mind after seeing the Knicks struggle in their first few games this season.

Anthony and some of his teammates, including Derrick Rose, were rumored to be disappointed about Jackson's insistence to use his said system. The nine-time NBA All-Star has told reporters in a recent interview that he is "getting tired" of the triangle offense, according to Fox Sports.

"We're making adjustments offensively regardless of what we're running," said Anthony. "At this point I'm getting tired of hearing about the triangle. Just getting tired of hearing about it."

The acquisition of Rose, Joakim Noah, and Courtney Lee to boost the Knicks' starting lineup with Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis was expected to do wonders this season. Rose even called themselves a "super-team" during a preseason interview.

However, the Knicks have been nothing but a perpetual disappointment for their fans and supporters as they continue to show dismal performances this season.

Sportsrageous indicated that Anthony may eventually demand a trade to the Cavs to get out of New York's rut and finally contend for an NBA title.

Meanwhile, Cleveland is aiming for back-to-back titles and is still looking to improve their roster to stay at par with arch-rivals Golden State Warriors.

Trading Love for Anthony is said to be an upgrade for the Cavs as the former is seen as an "odd fit" to LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

Love has also been mentioned in a lot of trade rumors recently because of it. This speculated trade with Anthony is not new in the rumor mill as it had been reported since last year.
