Latest rumors are out that the Oklahoma City Thunder could swap Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams for the Golden State Warriors' Klay Thompson and Zaza Pachulia.

The Thunder and Warriors were preseason favorites in the Western Conference and have begun the season differently with OKC zooming to a 6-1 start while Golden State struggling in losing two of their first six games.

However, OKC has now begun to slide with four straight loses, while the Warriors are starting to rise with four consecutive wins.

With that, recent trade rumors have emerged that the two teams are in talks of a potential deal between them involving four of their starters.

HNGN reported that the Thunder are offering their starting shooting guard and center, Oladipo and Adams, to the Warriors for their own starters at the same positions, Thompson and Pachulia.

OKC and Golden State are linked this season because of one man, Kevin Durant, who decided to join the latter via free-agency during the summer, leaving the only NBA team he had for the first nine years of his professional career.

The Thunder misses his services so much, especially on the offensive end, and is looking for someone who can fill it up moving forward.

Thompson is rumored to be one of their primary targets as Durant's replacement and it is a coincidence that he is struggling to find his groove at Golden State at the moment.

Speculations abound that Thompson is an ill-fit with Durant and is becoming the odd-man out with the Warriors, which caused him to have a shooting slump in the beginning of the season. Further rumors said that Golden State is actually thinking about trading him when a good deal arrives and this rumored offer by the Thunder might make them agree.

Another rumor circulating online recently is Golden State's plan to trade Thompson to the Boston Celtics for a package including Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder, and the right for the Warriors to swap first-round picks with Boston's pick from Brooklyn, as per CSN New England.

Some analysts believe that if Thompson continuous to show his inability to adapt to Durant's presence, then he could eventually be traded before this season's February trade deadline.
