Rumors are currently circulating online that John Wall is asking the Washington Wizards to trade starting center Marcin Gortat for the Milwaukee Bucks' Greg Monroe.
There are reports that Wall was not happy about Gortat's recent criticisms of the team's bench players. Chat Sports Net said that "trouble is brewing inside the Wizards' locker room" because of it and that Wall wanted the club to trade Gortat to the Bucks for its backup center Monroe.

Wall, the Wizards' team leader, was recently thrown out in two consecutive games. It was said to be the result of Washington's current struggles and the injury to his backcourt partner Bradley Beal.
Washington is currently third from the last place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 2-7 slate, and there seemed to be no one stepping up with Beal's absence, especially on the part of the team's second unit.
Gortat had some harsh words for the team's bench after they dropped a 106-95 game to the Chicago Bulls last Saturday at the United Center, saying "I think right now as far as I know I think we've got one of the worst benches in the league right now," as per Clutch Points.
The Polish seven-footer then followed it up by saying, "We (the starters) can't get used to it. We can't get comfortable with that. We've got to do something about that right now. It's not fun anymore."
No one among the Wizards' bench crew is averaging more than 5.3 points at the moment and bench play is considered as one of the team's weaknesses at this time.
Washington signed Ian Mahinmi, Jason Smith, and Andrew Nicholson in free-agency and also traded for former Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke during the summer to reinforce the team's bench, but all of them have struggled in the beginning of this season. Mahinmi is still out with a knee injury and there is no timetable yet for his return.
