UMi Plus E Smartphone Officially Launched in China at $199.99

Chinese tech giant UMi officially launched its newest device - the UMi Plus E smartphone - in China for the price of 1376.06 Yuan (around $199.99 / Rs. 13,614.41). Pre-order for this new smartphone will start on Nov. 23 and shipping will be available from Dec. 10, 2016 onwards.

The UMi Plus E is an upgraded version to the recently launched device called UMi Plus smartphone. It was notable that the original UMi Plus smartphone was priced in China at around $179.99 or roughly equivalent to 1238.45 Yuan (approx. Rs. 12,252.90).
As for the specification, the UMi Plus E smartphone features a sharp 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen with 95 percent NTSC color gamut and offers a 401 PPI of pixel density at 16 million colors. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor clocked at a speed of 2.3GHz, which is paired with Mali T880 Graphics.
Interestingly, the UMi Plus E comes with a massive 6GB of RAM onboard. It has a built-in 64GB internal memory storage, which can be further be expanded up to a huge 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone is running on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, along with UMi's latest customized user interface laid on top.
On the camera side, the UMi Plus E sports a 13-megapixel Samsung 3L8 primary camera with PDAF autofocus and LED flash support, coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing shooter for taking selfies and video calling purposes.
The device is fueled by a gigantic Sony 4000mAh capacity battery with quick charge support technology that is rated to deliver 15 hours of Gaming, 17 hours of Video Play, 48 hours of 4G call, and 121 hours of Music play.
