The Miami Heat and Washington Wizards are reportedly negotiating for a potential trade involving their starting point guards John Wall and Goran Dragic.

Morning News USA reported that the Heat could offer Dragic, combo guard Tyler Johnson, and a future first-round draft pick to the Wizards for Wall, who is a three-time NBA All-Star and an All-Defensive Second Teamer last year.

Miami is said to be planning a full rebuild beginning this season as the team no longer has a legitimate superstar in their roster. The results have been evident as they are currently fourth from the last place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 4-9 record.

The Heat's Big Three that won them two championships in 2012 and 2013 are now all gone. LeBron James went home to Cleveland in the summer of 2014, while Dwyane Wade also joined his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, this offseason. Chris Bosh is still not cleared to play because of his blood-clotting issues, and team president Pat Riley said last month that the club is not actively looking to put him back on the court again.

With that, Miami is left with Dragic and Hassan Whiteside as team leaders and the two are clearly not enough to take the team back into title contention. Both Dragic and Whiteside are said to be valuable trade assets for the Heat to start their rebuild.

However, Fansided indicated that Dragic could be the first option to be traded away by the Heat as Whiteside is "doing an exceptional job of being the franchise player."

Meanwhile, a locker room rift is rumored to be happening in Washington as speculations that Wall and Beal "do not like each other on the court" continue to persist.

Just recently, Marcin Gortat is added to the rumors as reports went out that Wall wanted the Wizards to trade him to the Bucks for Greg Monroe following the starting center's recent "harsh" comments about the team's second unit.

With Wall seemed to be hostile to most of his co-starters in Washington, the Wizards are reportedly considering to trade him before the February deadline.
