More details about the rumored Lenovo Miix line of devices have recently surfaced. Dubbed as Lenovo's answer to the Microsoft Surface line of gadgets, this line of 2-in-1 devices have a new rumored member, the Miix 520.

Lenovo released the Miix 510 in October and now rumors about an upgraded version of the device is making a buzz on several tech forums. A leaked product image believed to be that of the Miix 520 was recently posted by WinFuture. According to The Verge, the Lenovo Miix 520 will come with Intel's newest Kaby Lake processor, and an upgraded memory from 8GB to 16GB. A fingerprint scanner is also expected to be added into the device's long list of new features. As for the Miix 520's battery life, reports claim that a full charge can power the device for up to 10 hours.

According to MSPowerUser, the Lenovo Miix 520 sports a 12.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution. The device supports up to 1TB of SSD storage option.

If these rumors are true, the biggest selling point of the Lenovo Miix 520 will the Intel Kaby Lake processor upgrade. The Miix 510 has Intel's sixth-generation Core i7 processor, and an upgrade to Kaby Lake is a significant bump into the device's processing power. Moreover, Kaby Lake processors are the hardware of choice for most virtual reality headsets.
