The Samsung Gear S3 is easily one of the best smartwatches available in the market today. The smartwatch provides more connectivity options with its built-in LTE and GPS. However, the smartwatch was widely criticized for its thickness. To make up for this shortcoming, Samsung is tapping two accessory companies in order to give the Gear S3 more customizable options.

Samsung is partnering with SLG Design and Strap Studio. The two companies will create swappable bands for the Samsung Gear S3.

Strap Studio will create Gear S3 bands that are made of leather. According to The Verge, these bands are intended to attract business-oriented people who want a classy leather look to go along with the S3's classic round display.

The company will release 15 bands that are all compatible with both the Frontier and Classic S3 models. Strap Studio bands are made from hand-sewn Italian leader that comes with a stainless steel buckle. Color options are black, creamy beige, brown, navy, light grey, and pink. Straps with stiches will cost $40, while those without stiches cost $30.

On the other hand, SLG Design's bands offer a more modern take on the Gear S3 straps and a bit more expensive. The company's bands are also made from Italian leather, although it offers a handful of new carbon fiber pattern that costs $110.

SLG Design's canvas strap costs $50, while a more traditional leather version costs $70. Color options are darker compared with the ones from Strap Studio and are available in blue, green, black, and brown, according to Digital Trends.

Samsung will sell these straps through the company's own online store in Korea. The company said that the straps will be released by some retail stores in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mexico. Other regions will have to check out their respective online stores if they want to purchase these new straps.
