Shenzhen New Century Leopards Rout Beikong Fly Dragons in the Chinese Basketball Association Round 15

After a heartbreaking lost against the Beijing Ducks last Sunday, the Shenzhen New Century Leopards immediately came back in to the winning column in the expense of the lowly Beikong Fly Dragons in the 15th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) with a 117-99 triumph on Friday evening.

According to EuroBasket, Shenzhen's foreign reinforcements Jemery Pargo and Maciej Lampe delivered outstanding double-double game performances for the Qun Li-headed Chinese club. Lampe finished the match with 15 points and 15 rebounds and Pargo had 22 markers and 11 boards.
The two former NBA players also contributed with eight assists and five steals with the 31-year-old Lampe also posting three of the team's four blocked shots during the game.
Shenzhen also had the luxury of having four local players scoring in double figures with Duo Meng having 17 points, Jie Zhao with 16 markers, while Quan Gu and Muhao Li chipping with 15 points apiece.
The winning team outrebounded Beikong, which was paced by American point guard Errick McCollumn with game-high 38 points, with a 52-40 advantage.
With the victory, the Leopards now improved to a better 11-4 win-loss record and currently tied with the Liaoning Flying Leopards for the fifth and sixth places of the league's team standing. They are scheduled to play second-ranked Guangsha Lions in the coming 16th round of the CBA on Sunday.
Guangsha recently lost their game against the Yi Jianlian-led Guandong Southern Tigers last Wednesday. The Lions currently own a 13-2 win-loss card.
Basing from the game result in the website of NowGoal, Shenzhen ended the first half leading by eight points 55-47. The Fly Dragons put on a 27-24 run during the third frame of the ballgame to cut the deficit within five, 79-74, going in to the final 12 minutes of the contest.
In the last quarter of the game, Shenzhen pounded the opposing side with a 38-25 charge to completely seal the win.
