Chinese Basketball Association: Former Memphis Grizzlies Player Jamaal Franklin Lifts Shanxi Brave Dragons to Another Win

Former NBA player Jamaal Franklin continues to be the main man of the Shanxi Brave Dragons as he led the Xujin Zhe-headed squad to another victory in the ongoing 22nd season of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) last Sunday night.
According to EuroBasket, the ex-Memphis Grizzlies shooting guard finished the match with an impressive double-double game performance of 37 points and 15 rebounds to go along with eight assists and three steals in leading Shanxi to a 119-113 triumph over the team of Jiangsu Dragons in the 16th round of the Chinese league.

The 25-year-old native of Moreno Valley, California, went on a 9-14 shooting from the field and connected three of his nine three-pointers during the game. Franklin also made 10-16 from the foul line and played for a solid 40 minutes in the hard wood.
Franklin has led his team to an 8-8 win-loss record and currently on a two-game winning run. The Brave Dragons are presently ranked No. 10 in the 20-team Chinese professional basketball league.
The 2013 NBA Draft 41st overall pick is the CBA's third-ranked player with the most points scored per game played since the new season of the league kicked off last October while averaging 37.2 points per outing. Franklin is the current Chinese league's leading player in the assists department with 9.4 assist per game and tops the CBA in steals with a 3.3 steals per contest average, according to Asia-Basket.
In the last five games that the Brave Dragons have played, the American basketball player posted impressive averages of 33.8 points, 9.8 assists, and 4.8 steals. He also registered two consecutive triple-doubles game performances.
Franklin had 25 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists in their 107-103 loss against the team of Jiangsu Monkey Kings in the 14th round and scored 42 points, dished out 13 assists, and pulled down 11 rebounds in their 130-127 win over Sichuan Blue Whales in the 13th round.
