According to a published report of the ESPN, the two-time NBA All-Defensive First Team member registered the 15th triple double of his professional basketball career. Green finished the game with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists to go along with four steals and two blocked shots in 35 minutes of playing time.
"I love playing defense, so when it comes to a situation where you've got to get a stop to win the game, I enjoy that moment," the 26-year-old Green said of his steal, which the native of Saginaw, Michigan, staged while the Warriors held a meager 111-109 lead.
With the win, the Warriors have strengthened their hold on the top of the team standing with a league's best 22-4 win-loss card. The Steve Kerr-headed ballclub is currently on a two-game winning streak and has won 13 of their 15 game assignments on road this season.
Basing from the box score in the official website of the NBA, reigning MVP Stephen Curry exploded with 30 points including five connections from beyond the arc region. The Warriors other top guns Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson finished the match with 27 points and 17 points, respectively.
