The Chicago Bears, despite being clear of the playoff picture, is keen into spoiling its division rival's shot at the playoff tree. However, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers displayed one of the most spectacular finishes in order to salvage the team's chance of making it into the playoff.

The Bears went into fourth quarter down by 17 points. The Bears was close to winning the game during the final stretch, but the Packers defense denied the chance forcing the Bears to take a field goal leveling the game at 27 apiece, according to USA Today.

This gave Rodgers a minute and 13 seconds to close the game or send it to overtime. On third and long, Rodgers connected with his trusty wide receiver Jordy Nelson on a 60-yard bomb, which set up the winning field goal for the Packers. Rodgers had 19 completions on 31 attempts for 252 yards. Running back Ty Montgomery had 16 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns, according to NFL.com.

Rodgers' right calf injury severely hampered his movement on the pocket all throughout the game. He was seen limping several times, which led to speculations whether he can sustain the team's momentum with the last two closing games of the season and the Packers' playoff shot on the line.

Despite the much needed win, the Packers is still on the hunt with the last two games of the season. The Packers will be hosting the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 24. Should everything go well against the Vikings, the Packers will play a decisive final game of the season against the Detroit Lions on New Year's Day 2017.
