The red-hot team of the Xinjiang Flying Tigers will be looking to further extend its winning streak when they face the Beijing Ducks in the 20th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Friday.
According to Asia-Basket, the Flying Tigers currently own the league's second-best win-loss record having won 16 of the 19 games played in the ongoing regular season. The Qiuping Liu-headed basketball side is presently tied with the Yi Jianlian-led Guangdong Southern Tigers for the second and third place in the 20-squad Chinese professional basketball league's team standing.

The Flying Tigers are considered to have the edge to come up as the winners in the upcoming match when the two ballclubs face each other as they have a 1-0 upper hand over the Ducks this season. However, Xinjiang still missed the services of former NBA player Andray Blatche, who was still sidelined because of an injury.
Xinjiang is currently on a seven-game winning streak while Beijing, which have a win-loss record of 11-8, has won its last two game assignments in the previous rounds of the league. The Ducks have impressive victories over Fujian Sturgeons and CBA defending champions Sichuan Blue Whales last week.
The 2016 Spanish League Top Scorer Darius Adams is expected to carry the Flying Tigers to another victorious battle. The 27-year-old American-Bulgarian point guard is the current league's fifth top scorer having a remarkable average of 34.6 points per game. He is also the team's top playmaker while ranking seventh in the CBA with 6.4 assists per outing.
On the other hand, the Ducks will be banking on the leadership of the two-time NBA All-Star and 2013 CBA Foreign MVP Stephon Marbury, who is the league's eighth-ranked assist leader of the season. Basing from the box score of the EuroBasket, the "Starbury" had a double-double game production of 26 points and 10 assists in their 105-101 win against Sichuan last Sunday.
Marbury is expected to give the energy his team needed to avenge their 110-92 loss against the Flying Tigers in the season opener last October.
