Anthony Davis had another spectacular double-double game performance to lift the New Orleans Pelicans in beating the lowly Philadelphia 76ers with a 108-93 victory at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday evening in a matchup of struggling teams.
According to a published report of the ESPN, Davis poured in game-highs 31 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to lead the Pelicans to its 10th victory of the season.

"My jump shot wasn't on tonight, so I started going to the rim," the 23-year-old Davis, who went on a 12 for 30 shooting from the field, said.
"You just adjust to the game. I wasn't going to keep settling. I just had to attack, and that's it," the three-time NBA All-Star continued.
Davis is the league's second-top leading scorer with an average of 29.6 points per outing and NBA's no.1 rim protector this season averaging 2.8 blocked shots per game.
The Pelicans had a slow start as they trailed 23-15 in the opening period. However, New Orleans staged a huge 42-21 run during the second quarter and never relinquished the lead that they have established in the succeeding periods of the contest.
With the victory, the Pelicans now improve to a better 10-20 win-loss card. According to the official website of the NBA, the Tom Benson-owned professional basketball club is currently the 12th-ranked squad in the 15-team Western Conference.
New Orleans had won four of its 15 games played on road and registered a 6-9 record at home and had won three of its last 10 games.
On the other hand, the 76ers suffered their 21st lost of the regular season and still remain at the bottom of the table in the Eastern Conference. They have only won seven of the 28 scheduled matches they played. Turkish power forward Ersan Ilyasova had 14 markers to lead Philadelphia.
The Pelicans will be hosting the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, while the 76ers will start a four-game Western road trip Friday night when they play the Phoenix Suns.
