The NBA's defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers had an easy night with a 103-86 victory over the visiting team of the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday evening at the Quicken Loans Arena to further extend their latest winning streak to five straight games in a row.

According to the published report of the ESPN, Kevin Love finished the game with an impressive double-double game performance of game-highs 29 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers to another victorious game. The league's four- time MVP winner LeBron James and 2013 NBA Sixth Man of the Year JR Smith contributed with 23 points each for the Ohio-based basketball squad, who remains as the Eastern Conference's top ballclub having won 18 of their 23 games played this season.

According to the official website of the NBA, the Cavaliers, who played without All-Star Kyrie Irving after being given a night off by the team, are currently 12-2 at home and the Tyronn Lue-headed NBA side had won seven of its last 10 contested matches. Cleveland is presently 6-3 on road and owns the highest winning percentage in the East with 78.3 percent.

Cleveland established an early double-digit lead, 58-43 at the half outscoring Memphis in the first two quarters of the game to enter the third period with a 15-point advantage on hand. The Cavaliers continued to control the flow of the game in the second half to easily cruise with the victory.

Zach Randolph paced Memphis with 18 markers, while Troy Williams and Andrew Harrison had 13 points apiece. The Grizzlies played without their center Marc Gasol after the FedExForum-homed club opted to rest the 2008 Spanish League MVP for the first back-to-back games against the league's reigning Kings.

The Cavaliers and the Grizzlies will face each other again on Wednesday night.
