It was one of the most anticipated regular games of the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors matchup on Christmas day. It was a close match that was reminiscent of the Game 7 of the 2017 NBA Finals. In the end, the Cavs have the final shot and snatched the win against the raging Warriors.

The last time the Warriors and the Cavs squared off, Kyrie Irving nailed a three-pointer that sealed their fate as NBA Champions, according to Yahoo Sports. In their latest match, Irving once again stepped up and closed the game winning jumper.

The Warriors had 3.4 seconds left to upset the Cavs in front of their home crowd. However, Kevin Durant stumbled as he dribbled and eventually failed to nail what would have been a game winning shot for the Warriors. It was a close call as Cavs' Richard Jefferson appeared to have roughed Durant causing him to stumble. But the referees sided with the Cavs and did not call a foul.

LeBron James finished the game with 31 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and two steals, according to NBA.com. Irving had 25 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and seven steals. Kevin Love added 20 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
