Dallas Mavericks center Andrew Bogut is reportedly expecting to be on another team after the trade deadline as he continues to be in the rumor mill this season.
ESPN reported that Bogut wants to stay with the Mavericks but that he is also prepared to be traded in or before the February deadline as he "very much highly doubts" to return to Dallas next season.

"I'm not silly. I've been in this league long enough. I'm an expiring contract," said Bogut in a radio interview. He clarified the rumors that said he was demanding a trade, saying it was "false", but he is not begging to stay with the Mavericks either.
"I haven't asked for a trade, but I know in this league we're 11-24, and I was being honest. There's a chance that I get traded. That turned out into a headline that says 'Bogut wants out,' which is false, but it's just one of the things you have to deal with in this league," Bogut said.
He then acknowledged that "veteran guys" could be traded to acquire future draft picks and rebuild the club and that he "could be one of them", as he emphasized the word "could" once more.
"I'm not saying I've gone to management and asked for a trade, which I haven't. I also haven't gone to management and begged them not to trade me. I'm just waiting to see what happens," he added.
Bogut, 32, was traded to the Mavericks last summer along with a future second-round pick from the Golden State Warriors, where he spent his previous four seasons and won one NBA championship. The 12-year veteran had spent his first seven seasons in the league with the Milwaukee Bucks.
CBS Sports' noted that Bogut's status as one of the NBA's best rim protectors has made him "a valuable asset and commodity" in the current trading period and that the Australian big man is "well aware of all of this".
Bogut is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the coming offseason and is currently coming off the bench in Dallas as he requested.
