ASUS has announced that its latest laptop computer - the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 computer - is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com for the price of $499.99.

The Chromebook Flip C302 flaunts a stylish design similar to the previous model of the computer. What makes this laptop more interesting is that it has a 360-degree hinge technology that will transform the computer into a variety of positions such as tented and tablet positions. Metal accents protect the Chromebook to ensure it can endure day-to-day usage, while the silver lid, large touchpad, backlit keyboard, and touchscreen all help to add to the overall look.

The ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 laptop computer features a 12.5-inch (16:9) Full HD display screen with a pixel resolution of 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz, Glare Panel with 45 percent NTSC, and LED backlit support. Under the hood, the computer is powered by Intel Skylake Core m3 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM onboard.

The ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 comes with 64GB eMMC native internal storage. The computer runs on the latest Chrome operating system out of the box. Powering inside the laptop is two Cell 39 Whrs capacity battery. Interestingly, it has an iluminated Chiclet keyboard and a multi-format card reader that supports SD/SDHC/SDXC slots.

Other features the ASUS Chromebook Flip C302 offers include HD Web camera, Wi-Fi integrated 802.11 AC, Bluetooth v4.2, TPM (Trusted Platfrom Module), and 2 x USB 3.1 type-c ports. The laptop computer measures body dimension of 304 x 210 x 13.7 mm and weighs around 1.2 kg.
