Capcom confirmed that "Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers" will use updated art from the "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix," which was released in 2008.

Two new characters are expected to be unveiled, and these are Violent Ken and Evil Ryu. The Evil Ryu first appeared in the crossover game "SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos."

In a statement posted on its official website, Capcom wrote, "This version of Ryu has succumbed to the Satsui no Hado and is now obsessed with fighting in order to prove he is the strongest."

Capcom added that Violent Ken is the resulting character after M. Bison kidnapped and brainwashed the original Ken. Bison also gave Violent ken with Psycho Power.

The new game will feature the staple arcade mode. However, Capcom is adding a new 2v1 mode, which is somewhat similar to the Dramatic Battle mode introduced in the "Street Fighter Alpha" series.

"Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers" will be released in two graphics style. For those who want a classic feel to the game, they can choose the pixel-art graphics, while more modern gamers can choose to pick the HD graphics created by UDON Entertainment, according to GameSpot.
