The 21-year-old native of Dreux, France ushered Shanghai to its 24th victory in 28 official matches played in the regular season of the largest professional basketball league in Asia. The Sharks are currently playing without the team and the CBA's top scorer Jimmer Fredette, who suffered an injury in their last game against the Liaoning Flying Leopards last Friday night.

Local talents Lu Wei and Wu Quanxi were able to give the necessary offensive firepower that Yabusele needed in accomplishing Shanghai's game assignment perfectly. The 31-year-old Wei finished the game with 19 markers, while the 22-year-old Wu contributed with 12 points and nine assists.

Former Denver Nuggets player Jamaal Franklin paced Shanxi with 31 points, while fellow foreign reinforcement Henry Sims had 23.

Basing from the match result in NowGoal, the Sharks ended the first 12 minutes of the game leading by four, 29-25, and capped the first half carrying an eight-point advantage after a 27-23 run in the second quarter.

The Brave Dragons managed to control the Sharks in further expanding their lead as they went toe-to-toe with the league's No. 6 team in producing points per outing. Shanghai is currently averaging 108.6 points per game, while Shanxi ranks No. 3 with an average of 110.1 points per contest.

In the final period, Shanxi outscored Shanghai with a 20-17 run, but it was not enough to steal the game.
