Chinese Basketball Association: Xinjiang Flying Tigers Beat Shenzhen New Century Leopards, Stretch Winning Run to 6

The second top-ranked team of the Xinjiang Flying Tigers crushed sixth-ranked Shenzhen New Century Leopards with a 113-107 win in the 28th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Sunday night.
According to EuroBasket, American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams had another explosive game performance of game-highs 49 points and 10 assists in leading the Flying Tigers in nailing another victorious battle. The 2016 Spanish League Top Scorer connected seven of his 13 attempts from the three-point marker while going 9-17 from the field and 10-11 from the stripe.

Houston Rockets' 2016 NBA Draft second round pick Zhou Qi finished the match in double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Former NBA player Andray Blatche had 13 markers to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals coming off the bench, while Chinese forward Kelanbaike Makan contributed also with 13 points.
With the victory, the Flying Tigers now improve to a better 23-5 win-loss record and presently sit on the second spot of the Chinese league's team standings. Xinjiang, which has won all of its six game assignments in a row, is just a game behind the league's leader Shanghai Sharks, who own a CBA-best 24-4 win-loss card.
The Leopards, on the other hand, dropped to 18-10 and remained on the sixth spot of the team standings. American import Jeremy Pargo paced Shenzhen with 28 points, while Maciej Lampe added with 24 markers and 15 boards.
Basing from the match result of NowGoal, the winning team entered the final 12 minutes of the ballgame trailing by four points after the Leopards outscored the Flying Tigers after three quarters, 78-74. However, Xinjiang was able to regroup and managed to contain the opposing team, as they staged a 39-29 fourth quarter outburst to overtake the lead and seal the victory.
The 14th-ranked team of Jilin Northeast Tigers will be the net game assignment of the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the next round of the regular season on Friday.
