New ZTE Blade A2 Smartphone Spotted on GFXBench Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System

An upcoming new version of the Chinese brand ZTE Blade A2 smartphone has been spotted on the online benchmarking website, GFXBench. As listed on the website, the device is said to feature a pre-loaded Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
The ZTE Blade A2 smartphone was initially launched in China last year in June. The smartphone is the successor to the ZTE Blade A1, which came with a lot of specs enhancement. It was notable also that the handset is running an older version of Android which is 5.1 Lollipop-based MiFavor 3.2 out of the box.

To recall, the original ZTE Blade A2 smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS 2.5D display screen. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the camera department, the ZTE Blade A2 sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash support. On the front of the device flaunts a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. Powering the device is a 2,500mAh capacity battery.
Connectivity options of the smartphone include Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 360-degree fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hybrid SIM slot, and Micro-USB. Interestingly, the Blade A2 also comes with 4G LTE and supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility.
Meanwhile, there is no word on when this new version of the ZTE Blade A2 smartphone would be available in the market.
