ZTE Axon 7 Max Smartphone Officially Launched in China

Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has officially launched its latest device - the ZTE Axon 7 Max smartphone - in China for the price of 2,997.25 Yuan (approximately $442 / Rs. 29,516.76). The smartphone is now available for pre-order in the country and will be on sale starting Nov. 2.

The Axon 7 Max smartphone features a massive 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) IPS LCD screen that supposedly has 3D viewing capabilities. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU onboard for the graphics. It comes equipped with a gigantic 64GB in-built memory storage, which can further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Axon 7 Max sports a dual 13-megapixels camera with phase detection, autofocus, laser autofocus, and dual LED flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixel front facing shooter. It runs on the latest Android v7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box, coupled with ZTE's updated MiFavor UI 4.0 user interface. The smartphone is fueled by a non-removable Li-Ion 4100mAh capacity battery with Qualcomm's latest Quick Charge 2.0 technology support.
Other features the device offers include a fingerprint sensor support, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C 1.0 reversible support, Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), 3G and 4G HSPA LTE network support. It is only available in gold color. The Axon 7 Max is currently priced at RMB 2999 ($442) and comes with RMB 360 ($53) worth of free 3D content.
