Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is adamant that he will not leave Europe until he wins a Premier League title. However, he does not discount a move to the Chinese Super League in the future.

Giroud, 30, who signed a fresh three-year contract worth $123,800 (£100,000) per week last week, was asked by reporters if he is also being lured to play in the Chinese top-flight at the moment like some of the biggest names in the Premier League.

Last month, his Chilean teammate Alexis Sanchez was rumored to have been offered a $495,000 (£400,000) weekly wage to join an unnamed CSL squad, but Gunners head coach Arsene Wenger urged the winger to turn down the offer and stay in England.

"Honestly, from my point of view I will tell you that I can understand, but if you asked me if I want to go now I will tell you 'no,'" said Giroud, via ESPN. "The Premier League is my main target. After, when I will win it one day, why not? You never know. I am still young and I have ambition. And my ambition is to win the Premier League and to play at least two or three more years."

Giroud has always been one of the best goal scorers in the English top-flight since he joined Arsenal in the summer of 2012 from French club Montpellier for only $12 million. Before this season, he had scored 82 goals in a total of 187 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners in a span of four seasons.

This season, Giroud already has nine goals in 19 games in all competitions and has scored five goals in his last five games in the Premier League.

Giroud has just committed his long-term future with the Emirates giants, and he said that he is hoping fellow star teammates Sanchez and Mesut Özil will soon follow, according to The Sun. The club is currently in negotiations with the two players.
