Porsche has announced that it will be taking pre-orders for the Porsche Design Mate 9, which was collaborated with Huawei.

Huawei and Porsche introduced the exclusive Design Mate 9 in November 2016 in Germany. Now, Porsche Design’s website said that the exclusive phone is ready for orders and the shipping date is on Jan. 31. The handset has a price tag of €1395 or around $1,500. The device will only be shipped to several countries within Europe.

There is a lot in common between the regular Mate 9 and the designer’s one but the latter offers quite a hefty set of specification. The mobile device’s body is made of graphite black brushed metal, and covered with Gorilla Glass in the front, offering a stylish and premium look. The handset is also featuring Porsche Design branding both on front and back.

Porsche Design Mate 9 is powered by Kirin 960 processor and runs Android 7.0 under its hood. It comes with 6GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory without microSD card slot for expansion. It sports a slightly 5.5-inch curved QHD AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution.

The premium handset features Leica dual-camera setup – 12MP RGB snapper and 20MP monochrome camera – and Hybrid Zoom too. It includes a generous 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging – 58 percent in only 30 minutes – as well as a smart touch fingerprint sensor. 

Upon ordering the handset package, there will be first class customized leather smart cover, a Porsche Design Premium Stereo headset, a USB Type-C cable and two charger-plugs design for UK and EU.
