Vivo V5 Plus Smartphone is Now on Sale in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced that its latest device - the Vivo V5 Plus smartphone - is now on sale in India. The device is currently priced in the country at around Rs. 27,980 or roughly equivalent to $415.
In terms of the specifications, the Vivo V5 itPlus smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution) display screen protected by the fifth generation Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz. It has a 4GB of RAM onboard and comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which is not expandable.

On the camera department, the Vivo V5 Plus smartphone comes with a dual front camera setup. It has a 20-megapixel front camera with the Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, and a 5P lens system, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel camera. On the rear of the Vivo V5 Plus flaunts a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash support.
The Vivo V5 Plus runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with the company's very own Funtouch OS 3.0 user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the device is a non-removable Li-Ion 3,165 mAh capacity battery with fast charging technology support.
Other features the Vivo V5 Plus offers include 4G LTE network, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, dual-SIM, and fingerprint scanner. It measures body dimensions of 152.8 mm x 74.00 mm x 7.26 mm (6.01 x 2.91 x 0.29 in) and weighs around 158.6 grams.
