Chinese smartphone maker Vivo will soon be launching its latest device dubbed as the Vivo Y53 smartphone in India. This information was confirmed after the new device has been spotted listed on Vivo's official website in the country.

In terms of the specifications, the Vivo Y53 smartphone features a 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 pixels by 540 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM onboard and 16GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card.

On the camera front, the Vivo Y53 smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 Aperture, LED flash support and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor with f/2.2 Aperture for selfies. Interestingly, the rear camera features include Face Beauty, Normal, HDR, Night, PPT, Panorama, Videos, Pro, Camera Filter, Voice Capture, Palm Capture, Touch Capture, and Timer.

The Vivo Y53 runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Funtouch OS 3.0 user interface laid on top. Fueling the device is a 2500 mAh capacity battery. Other features the device offers include Triple card slot (Dual Nano 4G SIMs + 1 microSD Card), GPS, 4G LTE network support, BeiDou, Bluetooth 4.2, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and microUSB 2.0. Sensors on the phone are Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, and E-compass. The handset measures body dimensions of 144.2 mm × 71.4 mm × 7.64 mm and weighs around 137 grams.

Vivo's official website also revealed that the Vivo Y53 smartphone will be available in Crown Gold and Space Gray color options.
