Online retailing website Amazon China has announced that the 6GB model of the Huawei Mate 9 smartphone has received a price cut on its official website. The phone is currently listed on Amazon China for the price of 3998 Yuan ($580).

The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone was released last year with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory storage. Later this year, the Chinese company also released a 6GB variant with 128GB of storage in China.The phone was initially priced at 4499 Yuan ($652).

The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone features a 5.9-inch Full HD IPS display screen with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

The Huawei Mate 9 smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM onboard. The phone is available in two variant storages - 6GB and 126GB ROM. On the camera department, the phone sports dual Leica cameras on the rear (20-megapixels + 12-megapixels) with PDAF, OIS, and laser autofocus. On the front is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies.

The Huawei Mate 9 runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating sytem out of the box, which is coupled with customized EMUI 5.0 user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the phone is a 4000 mAh capacty battery. Interestingly, the handset comes with a built-in fingerprint scanner which is located on the rear panel on the phone.

Meanwhile, the price cut only applies to the Mocha Gold variant of the phone.
