Bottom-dwelling side Changchun Yatai FC (0-2-0, 0 points) will try to halt their two-game losing slide as they host second-running team Shandong Luneng Taishan FC (2-0-0, 6 points) at the Development Area Stadium on Sunday, April 2.
Changchun Yatai, who finished at 12th place last season to miss relegation by only three points, has started their campaign this term on the wrong foot, losing their first two games. The team was routed by current league leaders Shanghai SIPG, 1-5, during their season-opener on March 4.

They played better in their next game but still ended up losing to Guangzhou R&F, 0-1, on the road at the Guangdong Provincial People's Stadium on March 12, as per the South China Morning Post.
Head coach Lee Jang-soo's squad was able to hold R&F to a goalless draw for most of the match until Brazilian midfielder scored the lone goal of the contest in the 70th minute.
Meanwhile, Shandong Luneng has started the season with a bang, winning their first two games. Taishan Dui blanked Tianjin Teda, 2-0, at their home ground of Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium to open their campaign.
Head coach Felix Magath's side then pulled off an impressive 2-1 victory over six-straight defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande in the second round of competitions, Xinhuanet reported. The game was also held in Jinan on March 10.
Guangzhou scored the opening goal in the sixth minute with an individual shot by Huang Bowen, giving the visitors a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Shandong then scored two goals in the second half, courtesy of Brazilian imports Gil and Diego Tardelli in the 55th and 76th minutes, to secure the stunning comeback win over the defending champs.
The predicted result is a 3-0 rout by Shandong Luneng.
Changchun Yatai starting lineup (3-4-2-1 formation): Yi; Yaki, Zhang, Yan; Jiang, Pei, Sealy, Fan; Zhou, Huszti; Ighalo
Shandong Luneng starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Wang D.; Li, Dai, Gil, Song; Cui, Wang T., Hao, Jin; Tardelli, Pellè
