Xiaomi Mi 6 Smartphone Officially Launched in China

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has officially launched its highly anticipated device dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 6 in China. The device will be available in the country starting April 28.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone features a 5.15-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels and it has a 600 nit maximum brightness. Under the hood, the device is powered by the latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB of RAM onboard. The device's storage memory will be available in two models - 64GB and 126GB ROM.

On the photography department, the Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a dual-rear camera setup (12-megapixel wide-angle lens + 12-megapixel telephoto lens) at the rear, and a 12-megapixel front facing sensor. There is a new 'Portrait Mode' feature that blurs the background while focusing on the subject. This feature is similar to the one found on Apple's iPhone 7 Plus. Other features on the camera are 4-axis OIS and 2 x optical lossless zoom.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is fueled by a 3,350 mAh capacity battery which is rated to last for up to a day with MIUI optimizations. Other features the device offers include Type-C USB and 2 × 2 dual Wi-Fi technology.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 starts at a price of 2499 Yuan ($363.02 / Rs 24,000) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 2,899 Yuan ($421.13 / Rs 27,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version, and 2,999 Yuan ($435.65 / Rs 28,143.74) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version with ceramic design.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone will be available in Black, White, Silver, and Blue color with a Gold metal frame.
