An upcoming Coolpad smartphone has been spotted on the website of China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA). The new device was dubbed as the Coolpad VCR-A0 smartphone which is said to feature a dual rear camera and a massive 6GB of RAM onboard.

As per TENAA listing, the Coolpad VCR-A0 features a metallic unibody design. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz.  The phone will be available in two variants - 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. It comes with 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of internal memory storages.

On the photography department, the Coolpad VCR-A0 smartphone offers a dual 13-megapixel rear-facing camera setup with Dual LED flash support and an 8-megapixel front sensor camera for selfies and video chats. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Coolpad's latest customized user interface laid on top. It is backed by a 4060 mAh capacity battery inside.

Other features the Coolpad VCR-A0 smartphone offers include a fingerprint scanner which is placed on its back panel, 4G-LTE network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS with A-GPS.

Most of the specifications are quite similar to the Coolpad Cool 1 Dual smartphone that was launched in India earlier of December last year. Many have suggested that Coolpad VCR-A0 could be an upgraded version of Cool 1 Dual smartphone, which has 6GB of RAM and latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.
