The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 has been quietly unveiled in India with a price tag of $31.12 (approximately Rs. 1999). It is the first fitness tracker from the Chinese tech maker Lenovo and is now available for purchase exclusively through e-commerce company Flipkart.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 has a 0.91-inch OLED display, where the recorded data, such as steps taken, distance traveled, and calories burned, are seen. It also has a dynamic heart rate monitor that detects the user's heart rate every 15 minutes when put to "Sports Mode." It indicates the designated threshold of the user's heart through vibrations.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 comes with a built-in anti-sleep mode that automatically vibrates if the user has slept beyond the designated time. It can also be alarmed for concentration loss or dozing while driving and working at night. It has a weight of around 22 grams.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 offers a skin-friendly silicone strap that utilizes high-quality material and is highly resistant to abrasions and scratches. It is certified with IP65, making it dust proof and water resistant. It comes with an 85 mAh battery that lasts up to five days on a single charge.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 can be paired with a smartphone to show text messages, incoming calls, emails, and other social media notifications and to control songs. It is also compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 is expected to compete with Xiaomi Mi Band 2. It has the same set of features that are seen on most expensive fitness trackers that cost less than $46.66 (approximately Rs. 3000).
