Coolpad Cool Play 6 Smartphone Launched in China; Features 6GB RAM and Dual Rear Cameras

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad officially launched its newest device called the Coolpad Cool Play 6 in China. The Cool Play 6 smartphone features a massive 6GB RAM and dual rear cameras. It is currently priced in the country at around CNY 1,499 (approximately $217.14 / Rs. 14,014).

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor paired with a massive 6GB of RAM onboard and Adreno 510 GPU for graphics processing. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the photography department, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 smartphone sports dual 13-megapixel sensors with dual-LED flash and dual-tone flash sensor. On the front is an 8-megapixel for selfies and video chats. The phone runs on Google's latest Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Coolpad's customized user interface laid on top.
Powering the Coolpad Cool Play 6 smartphone is a 4060 mAh capacity battery that is rated to deliver up to 252 hours on standby, up to 9 hours of internet browsing, 8 hours of video watching, and 6 hours of extreme gaming. Other features the device offers include 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Additionally, the Cool Play 6 is said to come with an inbuilt intelligence temperature control technology that does not let it get too hot when running heavy games.
