"Mighty Ducks" Turns 20; Cast Celebrates With Flying V Photo

One of the most beloved casts of the 90s had a recent meetup to celebrate its flick's 20th year anniversary.

The cast of the teen hockey flick, "D2: The Mighty Ducks" reminisced over BBQ in Brentwood and even recreated their signature "Flying V".

The photograph was tweeted by cast member Marguerite Moreau with the caption "Flying V! #mightyducks reunion,". The picture was taken by the actress' husband, Christopher Redman.

The reunion is the first time the actors have ever gotten together as a cast in two decades.

Aside from the "Flying V" photo, the 37-year old Moreau, who portrayed Connie Moreau, posted a photo of herself with former onscreen partner Garrett Henson. Henson played Guy Germaine, Moreau's love interest in "The Mighty Ducks" movies. She captioned the photo with, "Just saying.... #nofilter #connieandguy #mightyducks #20yearreunion,' she said with the intimate snap."

Another photo featured Moreau and Henson with other castmates, Mike Vitar (Luis Mendoza), Vincent Larusso (Adam Banks), Aaron Lohr (Dean Portman), and Scott Whyte (Gunnar Stahl).

A much slimmer Shaun Weiss posed with his old photo as Greg "Goldie" Goldberg which Moreau also posted. She wrote, "Boys grow up to be men #Goldberg #mightyducks #20yearreunion."

Unfortunately three major cast members were absent from the reunion, namely

Joshua Jackson, who played team captain Charlie Conway, Kenan Thompson, who portrayed player Russ Tyler, and Emilio Estevez, who played Coach Gordon Bombay who led the team of underdogs to victory.

The first installment of the trilogy was released in 1994 and revolved around a coed teen's hockey team.

Of all three movies, the second one, "D2" is considered to be the most successful. The plot for "D2" found the Mighty Ducks representing the United States in the Junior Goodwill Games. Their major opponent in the movie was Team Iceland.
