Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams Make Their Debut On "The Voice"

Gwen Stefani and Pharell Williams just made their debut as the new judges of the singing reality competition, "The Voice". Original judges, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are still part of the panel.

Shelton, who has won the show three out of the six seasons, shared that although he welcomes the two new judges, they shouldn't rely on him for tips on how to choose contestants or win them to their side.

"I didn't tell them crap," Shelton shared, laughing, "That's my competition. We do these interviews, and Adam will get mad at me because I won't help them. This is a competition, and my job is to try to win this thing. When I started on this show, nobody helped me!"

Although he plans to play hard this season, he shared high praises for his two new co-judges, saying that Williams is one of the smartest and kindest people he has ever met. He also shared that he's enjoyed the talks they've had and that Williams is just the sweetest judge to be sitting next to.

Shelton shared that Stefani, on the other hand, is quickly becoming one of his favorite people on the show, calling her "the most normal person I have ever met in Hollywood". He also makes fun of how she says "rad" a lot, saying that it's probably "an Orange County thing".

He also shared that his wife, Miranda Lambert, found a fast friend in Stefani as well, as the two immediately bonded over fashion.

Stefani shared that being on the show has reignited her love for music, saying that simply watching the contestants on the show has been inspiring."I wasn't even thinking that deep about it, so it's been great. It taught me a lot," she shared.

Before Stefani and Williams came onboard, previous judges included Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Usher and Shakira.
