Local Thailand police revealed Friday about two Burmese workers who confessed on the gruesome double-murder case of British tourists who were on vacation in the popular beach of Koh Tao.
According to Major General Kiattipong Khawsamang, two out of three Burmese men had admitted to the murder while the other one denied being involved in the case.

The men, identified only as Saw and Win wore protective gears against possible audience attack at a press briefing on Friday as police announced their involvement in the crime.
Aside from the confession, General Somyot Poompanmoung revealed that DNA testing galvanized the link of the workers from Myanmar to the murder case as well as the rape of the female victim, 23-year-old Hannah Witheridge.
Witheridge, together with 24-year-old David Miller, were found dead at the famous tourist destination in the Koh Tao Island of Thailand where they allegedly attended an all-night party prior to their deaths.
Reports indicated that Miller, who was known to be Withrridge's boyfriend, tried to fight off the assailants but was unsuccessful as he was outnumbered.
The couple had been bludgeoned to death using a bloodied garden hoe found near their half-naked remains along the stretch of Sairee beach.
The incident was reenacted with the suspects narrating and demonstrating how it all happened as locals and tourists alike watched.
According to Somyot, the crime was fueled by sexual jealousy on the part of the assailants.
"The suspects saw them kissing and were aroused, so they attacked and got rid of the man and proceeded to rape the female victim," he explained.
Meanwhile, several human rights advocates expressed their concern about the lack of legal counsel for the accused.
However, General Somyot explained that they had not requested for legal representation and thus, were not given some.
Reports indicated that migrants working in the country, especially those from Myanmar, have often faced prejudice in Thailand and were frequently used as scapegoats for crimes in the country.
