Zhang Jingchu To Take Lead Role Opposite Tom Cruise

(Photo : Facebook) Chinese actress Zhang Jingchu is set to take a lead role opposite to Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 5.
Mission Impossible 5 has been looking to cast Chinese star Zhang Jingchu to take a lead role next to Tom Cruise.
The new movie set to go on the big screen in 2015 has been looking at the lucrative showbiz industry in China.
Zhang starred in different local and international films. She was part of Rush Hour 3 although she hasn’t made a big name for herself yet. According to the movie’s production team, Zhang would take a role centered towards a major plot twist.

The Chinese actress has appeared in Aftershock, a 2010 Chinese blockbuster film. She also portrayed a role in the 2005 epic, Seven Swords. Zhang was also part of the award winning movie, Peacock.
The Chinese star has also starred in numerous Hong Kong-based productions. This included roles in Beast Stalker, Overheard and Night and Fog. In 2009, she was also a part of City of War: The Story of John Rabe, a Florian Gallenberger drama.
Other films Zhang has starred in include 2011’s The Law of Attraction, Casino Moon in 2012 and this year’s The Old Cinderella movie. The 34-year old Chinese actress has been nominated four times in the last ten years at the Hong Kong Film Award.
Zhang was said to take the lead role opposite to Hollywood star Tom Cruise who signed the contract for Mission Impossible 5 in 2013. Cruised would still play Ethan Hunt, a special agent assigned with multiple missions by Impossible Missions Force.
The last installment of the movie, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, became a major blockbuster in 2012. The new movie bound for December next year would be directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Actors Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner are also set to be a part of the new movie. Other big names including Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson were also said to be part of the movie.
