Japanese automobile maker Toyota announced Wednesday that it is recalling 1.75 million cars worldwide due to brake problems and issues with its fuel component system.
The faulty brake was discovered in some of the latest models of the Crown Majesta, as well as in the Voxy and Noah models manufactured from June 2007 to June 2012.

In an interview with BBC, Toyota said they have received no reports of accidents caused by the automobile issues, but refused to disclose the amount the recall will cost the company.
According to Toyota, there are three main reasons for the vehicle recall.
The carmaker told BBC that some 802,000 cars in the international market had defective brakes, which could crack and lead to the leakage of the brake fluid.
In response to the brake defect, the company will change the rubber seal in the brake fluid cylinder to keep it from leaking. In the case where brake fluid has already leaked, Toyota will replace the brake booster.
In a separate recall announced by Toyota, the company said it was calling back 759,000 vehicles worldwide because of a defective delivery pipe system, which could lead to a fuel leakage and result to the vehicle catching fire.
The faulty fuel pipe system affected Lexus models produced from January 2005 to September 2010.
There are 423,000 vehicles in the United States affected by the delivery pipe problem, as well as 240,000 vehicles in Japan, nearly 10,000 cars in the United Kingdom and almost 70,000 cars in the Middle East and Europe combined.
Meanwhile, another Toyota recall was due to the defective fuel suction plates of 190,000 of its vehicles globally, especially in the models of Auris and Toyota Corolla that were made from October 2006 to October 2014.
The recalls were made after the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed its trades Wednesday.
