The Ring connects to the Google Glass, smartphone or smartwatch through Bluetooth. It should be within a five-meter range and should have no obstructions from the device being controlled.

The Ring can be easily set up and the user is free to control all his or her devices through one device. The user needs to create customized gestures for various functionalities.

It features a tool that adjusts the zinc-coated ring size and a battery stand shaped as a finger. According to reports, the Ring  has a battery that can last up to three days with continuous use and 18 days on standby. It is powered by a lithium polymer battery which is used in smartphones and takes three hours to charge fully.

Logbar Inc. started the Ring as a Kickstarter project and raised $880,998 supported by 5,161 people. The device has been available for sale since Oct. 9.

The Ring costs $269.99 and can be availed of on the Logbar official website. Logbar is based in Tokyo, Japan and also has an office located in Sunnyvale, California.
