Following two days of relative calm, the Islamic State (ISIS) militants have launched fresh attacks in the Syrian town of Kobani late Monday.
According to Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the monitor group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the jihadist group has launched attacks on "all fronts of the city."

In addition, his group reported "heavy fighting" in the town Monday evening.
The group also reported two suicide bombings in northern Kobani, in an effort to separate the town from Turkey, adding that ISIS has sent additional fighters to the western part of Kobani, while the center of the town experienced a fresh round of shelling.
The ISIS assault came hours after Turkey allowed the Kurdish fighters to join the fight the militant group and after ISIS militants' said the Kurds, who were fighting to defend Kobani, have received a first wave of weapons supply from the U.S.
Kasra Naji, of the BBC, said allowing the Kurdish Peshmerga fighters to join the battle was a "huge boost to the morale" of the defenders, and is also expected to boost their fighting power.
In a statement released to the BBC by Ismet Hesen, a senior Kurdish official who is responsible for defending Kobani, his troops already have enough fighters who had the "initiative against the jihadists, but said they were short on artillery.
Meanwhile, on Monday evening, there were several reports of intense fighting in the northern part of Kobani, which began as large explosions, followed by the sound of gun shots and ended with a U.S.-led air attack.
The fresh bout of fighting came after two days of relative calm in the town, which led many to presume that ISIS militants have halted its advance in the town, and were forced to scatter in the outskirts of Kobani.
