Joan Rivers' daughter and only child Melissa is set to inherit an estimated US$100 million from the deceased host-comedian's estate.
News of the inheritance comes a month after it was confirmed that the 81-year old E! "Fashion Police" host passed away from complications stemming from surgery.

The bulk of Joan's wealth is made up of cash and investments, as well as her luxurious New York apartment which values at US$35 million.
Aside from what Melissa is inheriting, her 13-year old son Cooper - Joan's only grandchild - will be the beneficiary of a multi-million dollar trust.
Melissa will also continue gaining substantial figures from her role as executive producer of "Fashion Police" and, through the profits earned by her mother's lucrative costume jewelry business that continues to gain popularity of the TV shopping channel, QVC.
Of course the money inherited by both Melissa and Cooper do not make up for the loss of their beloved Joan.
"It's no consolation for losing her mother so soon," a source shared.
Last September, Melissa took to Twitter to talk about her mother's death for the first time. She thanked everyone who had sent flowers and, heartfelt messages they have received from around the world, sharing "My mother would have been overwhelmed by the scope and depth of the love that people have expressed for her. It is certainly helping to lift our spirits during this time."
She said that their family are forever grateful to those who were kind and supported them throughout the whole ordeal, stating that she hopes everyone remembers the joy and laughter her mother had brought to so many.
Although Joan was already in her 80s when she passed away, but the comedian was larger than life and it seemed that she still had more to do. Her death, not caused by illness or old age, came as a shock to her family and colleagues in the industry.
