Android 5.0 Lollipop: Which Devices will Receive the Latest Upgrade?

Motorola, Sony and HTC all confirmed their upgrade plans for the next-gen Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Recent reports revealed details about LG's plans for the latest Android version and what changes it will bring to Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
Motorola is waiting for the Android 5.0 Lollipop official release before it starts software development for six of its smartphone models. Motorola will bring the latest Android version to Moto G, Moto X, Moto E, Droid Mini, Droid Maxx and Droid Ultra.

Meanwhile, HTC confirmed the HTC One series will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop. The new Android version with HTC Sense UI will be available on HTC One M7 and M8 and other HTC
One variants such as the HTC One Mini and HTC One Max. Other models may also be upgraded but no specific one has yet been mentioned.
Google Nexus and Play Edition devices will also receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop in the next few weeks.
Google confirmed that LG Nexus 5, LG Nexus 4, Samsung Nexus 10 and ASUS Nexus 7 will receive the update.
Meanwhile, Sony Mobile reportedly plans to upgrade its while Xperia Z collection including Xperia ZR, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Tablet Z1, Tablet Z, Tablet Z1s, Tablet Z1 Compact, Tablet Z Ultra, Tablet Z2, Tablet Z3, Tablet Z3v and Tablet Z3 Compact.
The Xperia Z3 devices will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop with Xperia Home UI by early 2015. Xolo also confirmed the software update will be available for Xolo One as well.
Android 5.0 Lollipop features Material Design. It also has Project Volta that improves battery life; an improved notification system; WebView which can be converted into an app for better security and Android Runtime.
