The Xiaomi official e-commerce website was updated with photos showing price cuts for some devices, including the Xiaomi Mi4.

Because of stiff competition, Xiaomi reportedly cut the prices of the MiPad tablet, the Xiaomi TV and the Mi4 flagship smartphone for 2014. The Tmall Xiaomi online store hints the Xiaomi battery pack and headphone will have a price discount, as well, while the Pay-TV MiBox already has a discounted price.

The Mi4 smartphone was priced at US$326 and will now be sold at US$293 as hinted by the Tmall, which showed the discounted prices with a question mark.

Mi4 has tough competition from Meizu MX4, another Chinese smartphone with powerful high-end specs. Other rivals of the Mi4 are the OnePlus One, Oppo Find 7 and IUNI U3 with 2K display. All these smartphones feature bigger displays, powerful features and reasonable prices.

The Xiaomi MiPad was dubbed as China's Apple iPad Mini replica because of its resemblance to the latter. The MiPad tablet is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and was first priced at CNY 1,999. According to reports, the device could be priced down to CNY 1,799 soon.

The Xiaomi MiBox used to cost CNY 399 and will likely be priced at CNY 299. The Xiaomi power bank and headset are now priced at CNY 100 while the Xiaomi MiTV 2 now costs CNY 3,999. It will likely be reduced by a hundred CNY soon.

The new MiTV 2 is a 49-inch UHD TV powered by Android.
