The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the latest Samsung flagship device competing against the Apple iPhone 6. Samsung doesn't need to worry about the iPhone 6 alone, however.

There's another threat called the Xiaomi Redmi 2.

Xiaomi and other brands from China have seriously challenged Samsung since 2013. Samsung's stocks have fallen 15 percent because investors aren't comfortable with the company's sales decline.

Samsung failed to reach its Q3 profit because 60 percent of its sales are from mobile phones.

Xiaomi is said to be copying Apple's presentation and design. Apple's design chief Jony Ive told Vanity Fair Tech Apple doesn't see the copying as flattery.

 The Apple official Apple spent seven or eight years working on its products and then it gets copied. Ive added the copying is theft and lazy.

Xiaomi continues to be successful, however, selling 100,000 Redmi 1s units within several minutes of holding a flash sale on Flipkart.

Weibo also leaked the Redmi Note 2 specs and the back panel pictures show the handset may be around 159 mm x 82 mm.

Reports also say that the specs include a 5.5-inch display, 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC, 26GB RAM and a 13 megapixel camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a quad HD display with Amoled technology while the Apple iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 2.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 while Apple has the new A8 dual-core processor.
