First Lady Michelle Obama has botched yet another campaign run when she mistook Colorado Democratic Sen. Mark Udall for his Republican opponent Rep. Cory Gardner on Thursday.
Speaking before a crowd of 1,500 at the Exdo Events Center in Denver on Thursday, Obama started strong as she pitched support for Udall and staunchly defended her husband's six years' stay in office.

While speaking about the Democratic incumbent's Senate record, the First Lady touted Udall as a "fifth generation Coloradan," adding that it was the reason he understood the state so well.
He appreciates the values folks here stand for; values like fairness and independence, she said.
It would have been a good point except for the fact that Udall is not a fifth-gen Coloradan.
Udall was born in Tucson, Arizona. His father, the late Morris K. Udall, was an Arizona congressman who served the Grand Canyon State for about 30 years.
It is actually Udall's rival, Gardner who is a fifth generation Coloradan. In fact, the GOP candidate almost always never fails to mention this piece of fact at campaign trails. His official 2014 campaign site claims his family has roots in Colorado that date back as early as 1886.
The First Lady's flub follows an earlier one just weeks ago in Des Moines when she mispronounced Democratic Rep. Bruce Braley's name as "Bruce Bailey" seven times, Breitbart relayed. Braley is in a tight Iowa Senate race against Republican incumbent Sen. Joni Ernst.
While Obama had corrected the error at the second campaign stop, the Iowa congressman was slighted yet again as a White House transcript gave him the wrong title of "governor."
In light of the recent mishaps, a senior Senate Democratic official lashed out at the administration's "ineptitude" and describing its political operations as having "sunk from annoying to embarrassing."
On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest reaffirmed the administration's commitment to support Democrats in the midterm elections.
The fact that the First Lady travelled to Iowa, followed by Vice President Joe Biden next week says all you need to know about our commitment to see Democrats win this November, Earnest said.
