Authorities have released new information on the Marysville-Pilchuck High School shooting, describing the actions of the gunman, the weapon he used, and an unknown woman who tried to stop the shooting.
The gunman, Jaylen Fryberg, was reportedly a very likeable football player and was named as a homecoming prince only a week prior to the shooting, according to shocked students at the Marysille high school.

"He was not a violent person," 15-year-old Shaylee Bass said. "His family is known all around town. He was very well known. That's what makes it so bizarre."
Witnesses describing the shooting depict Fryberg very calmly entering the school cafeteria. No arguing or yelling ensued from the gunman while he pulled out his weapon and began firing on multiple students.
Witnesses say Fryberg was very methodical as he stared down each of his victims, showing no remorse. The end result was one girl dead and four other students badly injured. Three of his victims were in critical condition with head wounds Saturday.
One student told KIRO-TV that while the gunman was attempting to reload, a woman very briefly confronted him trying to move the gunman's hand away, just before he fatally shot himself. The woman hasn't been identified, but is confirmed to be one of the school workers.
A .40-caliber handgun was recovered, which authorities believe to be the weapon used in the shooting.
Authorities still do not know the motive behind the shooting. Two of the victims, Nate Hatch and Andrew Fryberg, are in fact confirmed the gunman's cousins. Could his cousins have something to do with his motive or was it just a coincidence?
Both cousins are receiving treatment at the Harborview medical center, while Nate Hatch is listed in serious condition.
