June Shannon, aka Mama June, of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" fame is said to have never gotten over her feelings for her now-boyfriend, convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, whom she broke up with over 10 years ago.

Her feelings for the ex-con was said to have been so consistently strong that they even caused troubles in her relationship with former domestic partner, Sugar Bear Thompson.

Sources from the family have admitted to gossip site TMZ that Shannon kept a box of her photos with McDaniel in their home even though Thompson protested. Thompson asked her to throw the pictures away, but Shannon refused to do so.

McDaniel was said to have caused frequent arguments between Shannon and Thompson, despite the fact that he was in jail at that time. Thompson felt that Shannon was still emotionally involved with McDaniel even though he was in prison.

Shannon was said to have started seeing McDaniel, who was released from jail in March, when she was still in a relationship with Thompson. Family members now believe that Shannon was the one who had been cheating and, that she simply pinned the downfall of the relationship on Thompson. They believe she accused Thompson of posting personal ads on dating websites just so she would not be blamed for the separation.

Following the news that Shannon is dating McDaniel, TLC has cancelled the family's reality show and, Shannon's daughter, Anna Cardwell, revealed that McDaniel had molested her when she was 9 years old.

Cardwell, who is now 17 years old, had previously defended her mother, who stated that her relationship with McDaniel was in the past. She has since seen photos of her sister, Alana aka Honey Boo Boo, with her mother and McDaniel.

Cardwell admitted that she was molested by McDaniel 12 years ago and, by publicly admitting what he had done, she  believes that her mother will no longer want a relationship with her.
